Audiometry
Health surveillance is a requirement under ‘The Control of Noise at Work Regulations’, 2005 for workers who are: Regularly exposed to noise over the upper exposure action value of 85 dB (A) and those occasional exposed to the action value of 80 dB (A) or above and have a significant sensitivity to noise identified via medical history.
What does it involve?
- Audio questionnaire
- Hearing test
- Onward referral if applicable
- An outcome certificate satisfying HSE requirements.
